Chrome and Windows Security sometimes flag new, unsigned executables
even when the file is clean — this happens because the file has
no publisher signature and no download history yet, not because of
anything malicious we've shipped. Here's what to do.
Do: confirm the download came from an official OptiPEB
link before anything else. If someone sent you a link outside of an
official channel, stop and check with us first — don't download it.
Don't: click "Allow", "Restore", or "Remove protection
and open" on a security warning yourself. Send us the detection details
first and wait for confirmation that the release is clean.

Gathering details for a support report
Collect the exact detection info instead of acting on it:
Open Windows Security from the Start menu search.
Go to Virus & threat protection.
Click Protection history.
Open the entry for OptiPEB.
Click Action.
Click Allow.
Download it Agian from the homepage.
Always verify the download's SHA-256 checksum before installing.
